About Remi
Tara Remington (Remi) is an American multimedia 2D/3D artist whose work spans public art, site-specific installation, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and community-based creative programming. With over twenty years of experience in arts management, education, and collaborative public art, and formal training from the Ringling School of Art and the Portfolio Center, Remi approaches art as a mindful and empowering vehicle for social connection and collective expression. As founder of the Kala Grae Foundation, her work extends beyond the studio to cultivate community well-being through creative land-based education, mindful nourishment, and accessible creative self-care practices, offering restorative retreats and educational programs that reconnect individuals and families to food systems, nature, and one another while fostering resilience, health, and social connection. In parallel with her artistic practice, Remi is a certified wellness guide and personal chef, integrating holistic nutrition, mindful eating, and plant-based culinary techniques into immersive experiences that nourish the mind, body, and spirit.
